Miso Soup

A warm and comforting Japanese classic 🍲

Miso Soup

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups dashi stock (or water with dashi powder)
  • 3 tbsp miso paste (white or red)
  • 100g firm tofu, cut into small cubes
  • 2-3 tbsp wakame seaweed (rehydrated)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

Instructions:

  1. Heat the dashi stock in a pot over medium heat until warm, not boiling.
  2. In a small bowl, dissolve miso paste with a ladle of warm stock, then return to the pot.
  3. Add tofu cubes and rehydrated wakame. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Turn off heat. Add sliced green onions on top.
  5. Serve immediately while warm. Enjoy your comforting miso soup!
